For Tired Servant Leaders
Nothing we create is made for a mass-audience first.
There's plenty of Christian entities doing good work there.
We're focused on these leaders who are tired—stretched thin and reliant on the Spirit, often feeling short-on-time and overwhelmed by the piles of research, podcasts, and books they wish they had time for.
Delightful Gifts
Our small-as-possible team labors to hand these servants and leaders something that feels like a gift. It should bring such depth and nuance—and in so carefully polished and refined a format that there's an intangible joy to it.
Curation
Not long ago, the world was starved for content. Now it's inundated in it. And the water is rising with AI slop heaped on top.
When we look around, we see leaders who know plenty of good resources exist. The difficulty is in knowing where to start, cutting through noise, achieving conscious breadth, distilling for practical needs (e.g. a sermon series), and bringing it all together.
Clarity from Chaos

- Short-on-time community leader whether it's their first year leading or 40th.
- Overwhelmed pastor who did seminary in a whirlwind (or didn't) and is currently prepping.
- Traditional institution seminarian who wants to merely augment experience.
- Open-calendar retiree who wants to go all-in, sparing absolutely nothing.
- Circumstance challenged (e.g. money, location, critical commitments).
This notably includes many global messengers with limited access to spiritual peers and mentors.
A Truly Independent Christian Entity
We believe modern circumstances allow for a sort of truly independent entity in a way that wasn't possible in past times.
We have many plans for how to turn this into fresh types of first principles (and quite intensive to make) gifts for leaders, but that's for a future phase of Kainos.
No Official Stances Beyond “Ground Floor Beliefs”
If we wouldn't die for it (e.g. “Jesus is God”) and it isn't a key factor of defining “Christianity” itself, we don't take a position.
We're focused on the fewest beliefs unifying the maximum number of Christians, such as the contents of the Nicene Creed.
What we'll endorse or renounce is few and far between. An example of something we are unwavering on is that we consider the gospels of the LDS church and JW organization to be unambiguously different from that of the Bible.
Prayerful humans at the center of everything
Real people labor over even the tiniest details of Kainos. Our small-as-possible team reads many hundreds of books, researches and fact checks extensively, and carefully writes, edits, and publishes all Kainos content. Voiceovers are real human recordings.
In some places, we are faceless intentionally: Kainos is meant to be a unifying, independent Christian voice, that doesn't rely on the brand of any particular human or easily receive a box-placing label.
We take a middle-ground approach to AI. We believe it can be an important tool for redemption, but methods must follow after Genesis 1 and 2.
